Providing financial and budget execution support for federal facilities management programs, the full-time Financial Analyst II will manage the distribution, obligation, expenditure, reconciliation, tracking, and reporting of appropriated funds while ensuring compliance with federal financial management requirements, with a preference for candidates to work onsite in Albuquerque, NM, or Reston, VA, although remote work may be authorized. Key responsibilities: Executing and monitoring budget activities involving obligations, expenditures, allocations, and fund distributions Preparing recurring and ad hoc financial reports for leadership and analyzing budget execution data to provide recommendations Coordinating with acquisition, budget, finance, and program offices regarding funding actions and ensuring compliance with federal financial management policies Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered Minimum five (5) years of experience supporting federal budget execution, budget analysis, financial management, accounting, or related federal financial operations Experience working with appropriated federal funds, including obligations, expenditures, allocations, and/or fund tracking Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and financial data analysis Ability to obtain and maintain any required federal suitability determination or background investigation
